This iteration from Woodford Reserve Master’s Collection is a Kentucky bourbon finished in American brandy casks for up to two years. On the nose expect burnt sugar, sweet sultanas with a touch of chocolate. The plate offers an abundance of dried sweet fruit with notes of cinnamon, nuttiness and delightful vanilla depth. The finish is not overpowering but exudes a pleasant subtle toasted woodiness and gentle orange.
