Tullibardine Distillery was built in 1949 by William Delme-Evans and C.I. Barrett. The former went on to build Jura Distillery in 1960. Tullibardine is situated in Blackford, Perthshire, a short distance from the famous Gleneagles golf course. This Highland Single Malt is one of only 259 bottled by Berry Bros. & Rudd.
NOSE
Trademark grassiness and leafy herbs emerge with hints of citrus zest, followed by wood smoke and wafts of vanilla.
PALATE
A gentle spice followed by notes of lychee and banana. The smokiness continues in the background to compliment a very easy and well-balanced dram.
FINISH
A long and lively finish with peppery notes.
