THE CORONATION GIN – FULLY ENDORSED BY HISTORIC ROYAL PALACES
Gin In A Tin in collaboration with Historic Royal Palaces are excited to announce the launch of ‘The Coronation Gin’ to celebrate the Coronation of Their Majesties King Charles III and Camilla, Queen Consort on the 6th May 2023.
Inspired by the Crown Jewels housed at the Tower of London. The design includes a magnificent gold foiled crown, adorned with the iconic symbols of the four nations of the United Kingdom: a classic English rose, a traditional Scottish thistle, a springtime Welsh daffodil and the delicate Irish shamrock. The illustration also features royal purple, a colour in history, which reflected a wearer’s wealth and regal status.
The gin inside their signature tin is of expectational quality. Using exciting botanicals, this is a timeless London Dry Gin at 40% ABV. Perfect for adventurous as well as classic gin cocktails.
Distilled in small batches, with no added sugars or artificial flavourings, it has distinctive notes of lemon peel, coriander, cardamom and botanicals, centred around juniper berries to create the ultimate royal tipple.
So why not raise a glass with a celebration gin, shout 3 cheers and Hip, Hip, Hooray, to toast their Majesty’s Coronation. A historic moment and a once in a lifetime event for many!
Tasting Notes:
A smooth crisp gin with juniper at the forefront, citrus notes of lemon and orange, finished with subtle notes of cardamom.
Serving Suggestion:
Serve as a classic gin cocktail over ice with tonic and garnish with pink grapefruit. Alternatively mix up as a martini.
