One of the latest from The Character of Islay Whisky Company. Green Isle use casks of Islay single malts bought by The Character of Islay Whisky Company which are then blended with lowland grain and Speyside malt whiskies. The result is a classic and complex blended whisky that really has the heart of Islay at its core.
On the nose an amazing mix of smoke, floral and earthy notes with a hint of sweet fruits.
The palate is complex and well rounded. Vanilla pods, earthy subtitles, spice and a taste of the sea. The finish is slightly sweet with notes of smoke.
