Left Field is a well-rounded, flavourful single malt from Australia’s Starward distillery. Matured in Australian red wine barrels, it offers a rich, layered profile that highlights the distillery’s unique approach to craft whisky.
Nose:
Fruit forward with notes of red apple, candied strawberry, apricot jam. Mellow vanilla, buttery croissant with marzipan making an appearance.
Palate:
Fruit cake, hot ginger spice, maltiness and some tartness from the red fruit. Cocoa notes and liquorice are evident with a smooth caramel mouthfeel.
Finish:
Fruit, sharp tangy notes and mellow vanilla complete the complex finish.
