Casa San Matías agave plants are grown and harvested in the red soil fields of the Highlands of Jalisco which are rich in iron and other minerals. The agave plants are harvested after maturing for 7 to 10 years. The tequila is matured for 18 months in American white oak barrels.
The Nose: Notes of cinnamon, chocolate, caramel, vanilla, dried fruits and banana.
The Palate: Green apple, toasted orange, and almonds coat the mouth in a long and pleasant finish.
