The Balvenie 15 Year Old Single Barrel Sherry Cask is matured as the name suggests in a single Oloroso sherry cask, only 800 bottles are produced from a single distillation. The result? Although no one batch is the same, it is consistently rich and spicy.
On the nose expect fragrant dried fruit reminiscent of Christmas cake with notes of ground nuts. The palate has notes of sherry with dashes of spice and smokey oak. The finish is long with classic sherry and a hint of dark chocolate. Delicious.
