This exquisite single malt hails from Strathmill, where it was distilled in 2009 and left to mature in a refill bourbon barrel for 14 years. Finally, in 2023, Gordon & MacPhail unlocked the cask, releasing just 202 bottles as part of their revered Connoisseurs Choice collection.

Nose – Luxuriously rich vanilla custard intertwines with ripe banana and delicate herbal notes, while a dusting of cocoa powder gives way to zesty lemon and grapefruit peel.

Palate – Crisp green apple leads the charge, followed by buttery pie crust and toasted almonds. Waves of heather honey emerge, complemented by juicy mango and a whisper of charred oak.

Finish – Medium-bodied and wonderfully lingering, with tropical fruit sweetness fading into a gentle dusting of cocoa powder.
