Part of the triple cask range; the Macallan 15 Year Old was matured in a combination of European, American sherry seasoned oak casks and American ex-bourbon oak casks. A legendary whisky from a legendary distillery which ticks all the boxes if we might say so.
The nose is vibrant and full of allure, rose petal and cinnamon pair beautifully to tingle the senses. Notes of milk chocolate and honey make a subtle appearance.
The palate is sweet and delightful, nuts and raisin chocolate bar, honeycomb, fresh orange and a hint of tobacco leaves. Very nice indeed!
The finish is medium length and incredibly smooth. Notes of nuts, dried fruits and orange.
