Another classic single malt from the notorious Speyside Distillery. This 18 year old malt has been matured in American and sherry casks resulting in an exceptionally smooth and rich sherried malt.
On the nose expect deep dark chocolates notes accompanied by sherried fruit and a touch of apple lightness. The palate is thick with toffee and continuing sherried notes with a balance of gentle oak spice. The finish is dry with extended oak and spice. A really fantastic drop and worthy of the gold awards collected from IWSC.
