Matured in a combination of Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks for a minimum of 21 years, this Highland single malt is named after the 'parliament' of rooks that have been nesting in the trees that overlook the GlenDronach distillery for almost 200 years.
On the nose expect rich plum notes, oak, dried nuts and soft smoke. A range of flavours extend to the palate also; vanilla, honeycomb, bitter chocolate, ripe dates and background of earthy spice. The finish is long and hearty, notes of sherry and bitter chocolate continue. This is a delightful expression from the distillers at GlenDronach and one to savour and enjoy with family and friends.
