A sweet and quirky pineapple flavoured gin from That Boutique-y Gin Company. Apparently, pineapple and gin was all the rage in the 1920's, so the team over at TBGC have brought it back with a modern twist! Whole roasted pineapples are doused with delicious Demerara sugar and roasted until a delightful caramelisation occurs. This is then mixed with some classic gin, the result? Well, we think it's quite amazing, bring back the 20's!
The nose is of course pineapple led, very sweet and juicy. Notes of burnt caramel and some limes make an appearance. The palate is both sweet and sour, pineapple, limes, pancakes, caramel and a hint of juniper.
