The first batch from the English Whisky Co was so good, That Boutique-y Whisky Company decided they needed to bottle another. This one being three years older. Winning a gold medal in the European Single Malt Premium category at The World Whisky Masters 2018.
The nose is initially of smoky oak before British fruits start to make an appearance, pears, apples, cherries and blackcurrant. The palate is sweet and inviting. Ripe sweet cherries mix with cinnamon, apples, oak and leather. Truly delightful. The finish is slightly warm and long-lived, sweet cherries mix with the smoky oak.
That Boutique-y Whisky Company is an independent bottler, you can expect single malts, single grains and bourbons from all from renowned distilleries. They also produce world-renowned blended whiskies and blended malts. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.
