A rare and exciting opportunity to try whiskies of a time gone by. Rare and legendary whiskies that are no longer made or found beautifully blended into this fine expression. This batch is a true reminder of the whiskies of the past and has been produced with a limit of 600 bottles.
This batch features malt whisky from Caperdonich, Rosebank, Imperial, Mosstowie, Glen Mhor, Glenisla, Glenlochy, Craigduff, Port Ellen and Brora, along with grain whisky from Port Dundas.
On the nose soft fruit cake covered in vanilla custard. Subtle notes of mint chocolate and oak tease the scenes towards the end. The palate is full-bodied and complex! Fresh citrus, Valencian oranges, chestnuts, oak and oriental spices dance on the tongue. The finish is sweet, long and smooth.
