Imagine a time back in the 1800’s when New Orleans coffee houses were packed full of patrons quenching their thirst. Although not everything was as it seemed on the inside as Rye Whiskey was paired with bitters to create what we commonly know now as the famous Sazerac Cocktail. This is the original whiskey that started it all. On the nose expect aromas of pepper, clove and a subtle spice infused with rye. The palate offers vanilla, caramel and delicate but spicy citrus notes. A glorious finish packed with rye and further spice.
