Part of That Boutique-y Rye Company's Rye Series, this limited edition Peerless Distillery rye whiskey is 3 years old and very tasty indeed. The ever so cool label graphic shows the original distillery in Henderson Kentucky and features three retro baseball cards showing the founder Henry Kraver, with his great-grandson Corky Taylor and great-great-grandson Carson Taylor.
The nose is initially sweet with tones of butterscotch and caramel, notes of pepper and fennel spices make an appearance.
The palate is hints of chocolate, nuts and caramel.
The finish is rye bread with tones of butterscotch and fennel.
