Heaven’s Door delivers a standout straight rye whiskey, elevated by a unique finish in toasted oak cigar barrels from the Vosges forests of France. Expect bold waves of orange peel, tropical fruit, coriander, and spice—flavours that have helped this whiskey secure multiple gold medals in the last two years. Its striking bottle showcases original metalwork designed by Bob Dylan himself at Black Buffalo Ironworks.
Nose:
Citrus zest and tropical fruits, balanced by coriander and fresh-ground spice. Notes of almonds.
Palate:
Tropical fruits with honey and caramel, followed by hints of vanilla and gentle spice. The Amontillado influence brings complexity and depth.
Finish:
Gentle spice to the finish which lingers impressively.
