Part of the Elements of Islay trilogy, Cask Edit blends whiskies matured in refill, bourbon, and sherry casks, all bottled at 46% for a balanced, engaging profile. Smoky, coastal malt from the south meets crisp, fruity northern character, resulting in a dynamic, beautifully layered blended malt from Islay.
Nose:
Baked pear and apple, raisin, honey and vanilla. Touch of peat and medicinal notes.
Palate:
Peaty, medicinal and maritime. Toast, caramel, lemon peel and pear with a tiny bit of peppery spice and toasted nuts.
Finish:
Medium finish with peat, raisin and a slight peppery spice.
