A fine Japanese blended whisky with a bit of a twist. Interestingly the Japanese bottling is made with malt whisky and molasses spirit, in the EU this would not be classified as 'whisky'. The export version for the EU is made from malt and grain whiskies.
The nose toasted rye bread, walnuts, chocolate, zest and some vanilla. The palate is baked apple strudel, walnut, clove, nutmeg, pepper and a hint of cherry. The finish is sweet with a hint of honey and oats.
