This 6-year-old single malt from the south of the Netherlands was distilled at the Zuidam distillery and released by Millstone before being lovingly bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company. Having won silver for best European Single Malt in 2018 at The World Whisky Masters it shows its class!
The nose has some spice, cinnamon, ginger before sweet cherry tart and apple drops blend in. The palate is sweet, apples, bananas, toffee and cinnamon. The finish is subtle, caramel with notes of clove and cardamom towards the end.
That Boutique-y Whisky Company is an independent bottler, you can expect single malts, single grains and bourbons from all from renowned distilleries. They also produce world-renowned blended whiskies and blended malts. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.
