Introduced in 2015 as a tribute to the beautiful island of Skye; jagged dark shores, strong seas, mountain peaks and hearty people. A complex whisky for a complex landscape.
The appearance is of polished copper. On the nose a fresh citrus tone develops into a soft marmalade of summer fruits combined beautifully with maritime air of salt, minerals, drift wood and seaweed. On the palate a soft spice mixed with salted caramel, very soft and subtle. The finish is medium length, dry and smooth throughout, a light peat smoke and sweet caramel.
