Produced by renowned independent bottler Dun Eideann (a second label of Signatory), this Glen Moray was distilled in 1992 and bottled after 21 years of maturing for the Italian market. Dun Eideann is the ancient Gaelic term for Edinburgh.
The Glen Moray distillery near the town of Elgin in the Speyside region was founded in 1897 by Glen Moray Glenlivet Distillery Co. Ltd. built. Glen Moray is also known as the distillery that first experimented with "Wood Finishing", the short ripening in special barrels.
