Stored for at least 12 years in oak barrels, this is a superb rhum with subtle flavours. An intriguing mix sitting between sweet and savoury. The quality of this rum is evident from the amazing taste and quality of the sugar cane used. Grown on volcanic lands that were previously devastated by Mount Pelee, the land now is rich and fertile with easy access to pure water.
On the nose, expect fruit. Oranges, tropical fruits, honey, cloves and coffee, very complex. The palate is sweet, similar to the nose but much more subtle. The finish is pleasantly long.
