This interesting single-grain Scotch from Invergordon was distilled in 2002 and filled into a single cask to mature for 20 years. Independent bottler GreatDrams opened this cask in 2022 to create the perfect expression for their Rare Cask Series.
NOSE
Leather and oak, dry mixed nuts with a tang of fruit and fresh popcorn.
PALATE
Gentle spice in the form of cinnamon, baked apples, light vanilla, caramelised sugar and notes of ginger.
FINISH
Smooth finish with a touch of oak char, light chocolate notes and a background of caramel.
