Greensand Ridge London Dry Gin

Greensand Ridge is an award-winning, carbon neutral distillery located in a beautifully converted Victorian coach house in the heart of Kent. Will, owner and distiller, specialises in Gins, Rums and Fruit Brandies, making spirits with provenance, using sustainable practices and turning surplus produce from local growers into fine spirits.

Greensand’s core London Dry Gin, often the backbone to other fabulous spirits Will produces, leaves you day dreaming of the great English countryside and with the botanical line-up it’s easy to see why: Oak Moss, Cobnuts, Gorse Flowers, Hawthorn, Bay Laurel, Poppy Seeds, Honey, and Rosehips. All of these are sourced within a mile radius of the distillery and accompany other traditional botanicals that are consistent with a London Dry. The result is floral and earthy dry gin which exudes elegance.

The nose is unmistakable to that of crisp London Dry, plenty of punchy juniper with wafts of spice. The palate is clean and leads to aromas of verdant pine forests, spice and citrus. Floral tones are definitely present which leaves a wonderfully smooth finish. Delicious!

Serving Suggestion:

If you’re going to stick with a classic G&T then look no further than quality effervescent plain Indian tonic, accompany with plenty of ice (larger the better) and finish with a bay leaf. This London Dry also make a mean martini but make sure it’s cold!
