With only 5500 bottles made this limited edition expression from the lakes distillery is a smooth whisky full of flavour imported from the special selection of casks they were matured in, those being the top quality first-fill PX casks from Spain.
The nose is full of dried fruits as you'd expect from the casks, ginger, nutmeg, gentle smoke and toffee.
The palate is smooth, notes of creamy vanilla, raisins and dried fruits.
The finish is long and warming, dried fruits and nutmeg spice.
