The signature Bourbon by Elijah Craig; who was the first distiller to innovate the process of maturing whisky in charred oak barrels (which this bourbon owes a lot of it's character to). With a list of medals that would fill a whole page including a double gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition. This 12 year old bourbon is much sought after, thrilling enthusiasts around the world.
The nose is very complex, notes of vanilla, honey, spiced fruits and even a hint of mint! The pallet is incredibly smooth, bursts of smoke are mixed with apple pie, nutmeg, butterscotch and spiced fruits. The finish is long and smooth as you’d expect. A subtle smokiness lingers with vanilla and nutmeg.
