This classic Virginia Whiskey is bottled in bond at 100 proof at the Culpeper distillery. The maturation process starts as a 3 grain whiskey followed by 2 months with charred Virginia white oak and Virginia apple wood before being further aged for 4 years in oak barrels. On the nose expect sweet apple strudel with hints of cinnamon. The palate offers a smooth toffee mouthfeel with background nuttiness .The finish leaves the mouth with dark caramelised brown sugar aftertaste.
